Hey guys here’s some snowskating events going down on
Saturday, February 20th:
First up is Ambition Snowskates Optimist Demo 2010.
Statement From Ambition:
“Just like last year, we are putting up an event in Sherbrooke, Quebec in collaboration with the optimist club. Come and shred with us at the Base Plein Air AndrĂ© Nadeau on February 20th, starting at noon. Much more organization was put into this year’s demo, so you can definitively expect a sicker park, more prizes and a whole lot of fun. Also get the chance to try our 2011 models (no pictures allowed!) and meet three of our pro riders: Phil Smage, Alan Gerlach and Charlo Simard. Thanks to Illusion Skateshop and CTC Creation for the support. We look forward to meeting you there!” Click here for official event details.
Second is the Epic Northeastern Snowskate Gathering.
Quoted from the Facebook Event:
“Snowskating at Crotched on Feb 20th. We’re getting some of the Maples Wax Team, Crotched Crew, and the famous Colleen Rob for photography as well. Come one come all with your bindingless boards. Leashes Required, and no singles. Friends allowed, we should have extra boards. (This is not an official Crotched Mountain Event, hence the name calls it a gathering)” Click here to join.
So this past weekend (I’m a bit late on this post) the Ralston Cup went down at Sierra-at-Tahoe resort. Now I could try and fizzle you guys through some event details, but I’ll leave that to some awesome people who were actually there with their own eyes (and camera’s of course).
